An essence of homecoming

Just check this out. Ignore the black thing standing in the middle of the picture and look at the small dingy which stays afloat. Imagine what it would be like to sit on that boat and enjoy the scenic all around. Look far sitting on the boat and you can see the the 'Kash' growing all through in a stretch, reminding us at once that the Pujas are nearing. The Ganges is muddy and you can almost smell her water. Somewhere hidden in the corner, there may be a crane or kingfisher searching for some fish to catch. The mild sun doesn't beat you down, instead, it appears to smoothly kiss you and spread the aroma of this enchanting time of the year.

She told me to go to sleep

She loved her, and so did he. It had been a while since they talked, They see each other; his throat aches, he doesn’t say a word, But how could he, the things he was going through! ‘He doesn't care.’, she thinks. He was a person whom she couldn’t be happy with. Maybe she was right. She tells him to go to sleep. Suddenly, he felt like a person with a rope around his neck, just on the brink of suffocation. He tries staying strong, he tries not giving in ‘He doesn't care.’, she thinks. He was a person whom she couldn’t be happy with. Maybe she was right. She tells him to go to sleep. The suffocation wasn’t new, but the distance was, Piercing through him, weakening him, every moment. He just wants to rest, but insomnia creeps in. ‘He doesn't care.’, she thinks. He was a person whom she couldn’t be happy with. Maybe she was right. She tells him to go to sleep.

A short Poem

Hi to all, this is a first in a series of short poems that I shall be writing over the course of the next few years. Do you hear the fleeting 'Time'? Its chariot ceaselessly , giving rise to new impulses every moment? It gives rise to the first cry of a child from a mother's womb As if a nascent star, exploding into life from the deepest of cosmic darkness. My Friend, that same fleeting time, today grasps me in its tentacles, and draws me upon itself, towards a journey undefined far far further away from you . . . As if, the light of dusk today gradually melts into darkness; Having lost my identities along the trail I fade away into the distance. My Friend, . . . Farewell!
